Team Dover released a brand new application unique to the installation April 16, 2018, here.

The free app, supported by both Apple and Android devices, features a notification system, a large phone directory and information for incoming and outgoing Airmen and their families.

The notification system will be used for weather emergencies, gate closures and base emergencies that affect a large population of the base or community.

“Our goal with the app is to provide Team Dover with information that will improve their daily lives,” said Staff Sgt. Esteban Esquivel, 436th Airlift Wing Public Affairs broadcast journalist craftsman and Dover Air Force Base App developer. “From the moment they get assigned to Dover Air Force Base to the day they leave the team, they can find information to succeed.”

A comprehensive calendar within the app displays important base and community events. The listing is updated frequently and contains the most current available information.

Through the “Emergency” button, users can easily reach appropriate agencies, including the local 9-1-1 dispatcher, Security Forces, Command Post, the Tricare Nurse Hotline, the National Suicide Prevention Hotline, the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program response line and the Dover Airmen Against Drunk Driving dispatcher. Additionally, information about how to make restricted or unrestricted reports of sexual assault can be found under the SAPR tab.

“One of my favorite things about the app is that it will continue to grow well past our initial release,” Esquivel said. “You can expect to see constant updates and additions to the already 100+ pages.”

The 436th Airlift Wing Public Affairs office welcomes any feedback that will improve user satisfaction. Any user who has a recommendation can submit a suggestion under the “Feedback” button.

The free app can be found on both the Google Play and Apple Stores by searching, “Dover Air Force Base.”
