Runway 01-19 reopens, C-5s return home

A C-5M Super Galaxy lands on Runway 01-19 Sept. 23, 2016, on Dover Air Force Base, Del. Soon after a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by 436th and 512th Airlift Wing senior leadership, this C-5M assigned to Dover AFB was the first aircraft to land on the newly reconstructed 9,602 foot-long runway since it was closed in February 2015.
