The 436th Contracting Squadron supports Dover AFB by providing quality, customer-oriented contracting support, training and contingency contracting capability to meet all 436th Airlift Wing and tenant unit requirements. This support gives Dover AFB the capability to plan, budget and acquire material and services for all mission area requirements. The services provided range from single, low-dollar commodity purchases and equipment repairs to multi-million dollar service and construction contracts. The 436th Contracting Squadron consists of four flights, all working together to achieve mission success with outstanding professionalism.
Our primary focus is customer satisfaction and awarding performance-based contracts based on “Best value” determinations, while maintaining legal sufficiency. Our vision is to be a highly trained and professional team partnering with our customers and industry to be AMC’s preeminent contracting squadron.
