Who inspires you? My grandfather; he served in the Navy in WWII and has worked hard his entire life. Growing up working with him on his apple orchard back home in Minnesota has taught me a lot about having a good work ethic and enjoying what I do.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I see myself getting my bachelor's degree, starting a family, and testing for master sergeant.
Airman 1st Class Nicholas Blue is assigned to the jet engine intermediate maintenance shop where he diligently repairs, inspects, and rebuilds TF39 engines. All Air Force TF39 engines come into Dover Air Force Base, Del., where they are rebuilt to be put back into service. His accomplishments and dedication are what led him to be handpicked to join the outstanding team of hard-working individuals at jet engine test cell where final tests on all production jet engines are conducted, prior to being installed on the aircraft. Even though Blue has only been at test cell for two weeks, he has shown to be a huge asset to this operation. His attention to detail and job knowledge have helped Dover AFB with achieving an engine war-readiness level of 267 percent. He has been given a huge opportunity that many people don't get to experience, and is doing an outstanding job.
