Airman Wilt is a flight service center apprentice assigned to the 436th Logistics Readiness Squadron Materiel Management Flight at Dover Air Force Base, Del. Upon arrival at Dover AFB in November 2011, Wilt became an essential part of the team by processing a weekly average of 220 due-in from maintenance assets. He ensures accountability of property by managing three supply listings daily and ensures all documentation is returned to Document Control. In addition, he was instrumental for the turn-in of 1,200 C-5 Galaxy and C-17 Globemaster III tires that were redistributed Air Force-wide, saving $1.2 million while maintaining 100 percent accountability. He recently joined in on the Women's Awareness 5K race in Dover and volunteered to be a unit Physical Trainer Leader. Wilt's supervisors and flight superintendent all speak highly of him and agree that he has been a great asset for the flight, squadron, and the Air Force.
