C-17 simulator to be complete in December

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- Keenan O’Bannon, Flight Safety International Visual System Support Team member, guides a $100,000 Mylar mirror to its resting place on Dover’s C-17 Globemaster III simulator. Once vacuum-sealed mirror is stretched tight it will make the images a pilot sees while in the simulator appear 3-D. The simulator is due to be complete in December.
