Evacuation Order lifted

Effective at 8 a.m. Aug. 28 the Evacuation Order for Dover AFB members will be lifted and members will be allowed to return home. If Off-Base, please check local travel restrictions as roads and bridges may be still be closed. Contact your supervisors directly for work schedules anticipating normal operations on Monday. Contact 1 877 229 7726 for status on the Bay Bridge.

The No-Drive prolicy in Delaware has been downgraded and the state-wide evacuation order has been resended. Please travel safe on your way back to Dover AFB.

Instructions for expenses

Active duty members need to confirm evacuation instructions with their Squadron Commander prior to their departure from the local area. Military members, dependents and civilians ordered to evacuate are authorized the use of Government Travel Card (GTC) or the new Consolidated Spending Account card (the new GTC). All applicable cards have been activated and the CSA has been preloaded with a $1,000 balance. Members will be authorized mileage reimbursement not to exceed 350-miles one way from Dover AFB. Civilians and military members without a CSA or GTC are AUTHORIZED a pay advance (this includes dependents if the military member is either deployed or TDY). That advance can be obtained as instructed below:
