Dover's Annual Air Force Assistance Fund drive began March 8 and runs through April 16.

The installation's Project Officers for the 2010 campaign are Capt. Joshua Futch, 9th Airlift Squadron, and Capt. Emily Arthur, 436th Contracting Squadron.

The Air Force Assistance Fund is comprised of four Air Force charities: The Air Force Village Foundation, The Air Force Aid Society, The General and Mrs. Curtis E. LeMay Foundation and the Air Force Enlisted Village. These organizations provide many benefits to the Air Force community including emergency aid, financial help for educational needs, and community enhancement programs.

Last year, the Air Force Assistance Fund provided $21.6M in direct assistance to over 42,000 Air Force members and their families. This year, Team Dover's goal is to raise $58,005 for these charities.

Each unit has an assigned keyworker to make contact with unit personnel. These keyworkers will have preprinted donation forms available for anyone wishing to make a donation.
