Eagle Wing joins FaceBook Published Feb. 11, 2010 By 436th AW Public Affairs DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del -- The 436th Airlift Wing has joined the social media revolution by creating a page on FaceBook, the popular social media site. The 436th AW page on FaceBook will be a place for anyone to see what the wing is doing and also to post comments and thoughts regarding the wing, stories or what they've done around base. The 436th AW Public Affairs office will be maintaining the page and posting information to it, but everyone is invited to search for the 436th Airlift Wing on FaceBook and become a fan. To start the conversation on the page, PA wants to know what the members of Team Dover have been doing during the recent snow storms. Just navigate to the page, and post your stories from the recent snow storms, such as how long it took you to dig out from your house, whether any neighbors or friends stopped by to help dig out, or if you've gone sledding on any of the large snow mounds that now dot Eagle Heights housing. In addition to stories about how Team Dover made it through the recent snow storms, submit pictures as well. Send pictures to the PA office at 436aw.pa@dover.af.mil, and they could get posted on the wing's FaceBook page.
