Describe your job at your deployed location:
While I was deployed, I built pallets, made sure they were secured on the plane that the aircraft had adequate restraints and was safe to fly with cargo, I helped to supply cargo to deployed members in locations downrange such as Afghanistan and Iraq. We also had the responsibility to assure all vehicles were operable and safe to use. I coordinated logistics events and dispatch.

What was one of the most memorable experiences?
My first three months into my deployment, I found out I was one of the few chosen for an achievement medal. I was told that I was a motivated Airman and I did a good job, paying attention to the details of the job. I felt honored to be selected. I didn't feel that I had done anything special to deserve it, I was just doing my job.

How did your job at Dover prepare you or relate to your deployed duties?
Working 12-hour shifts and the training I received helped out tremendously during my deployment. Everything I know about military aircraft is from Dover.

How did Dover's airlift mission affect your deployed mission and/or quality of life there?
A lot of the cargo we received at my deployment location was from Dover's C-5s and C-17s.
