The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds arrived at Dover Air Force Base June 18, and are the headline act at the base's Open House and Air Show June 20 and 21.

The Thunderbirds will be the closing aerial demonstrations for both days.

Other flying acts include the Air Force Academy Wings of Blue Parachute Team and Navy Tactical Demonstration Team, in addition to many other air acts and static displays on the ground.

In all, eight Thunderbirds aircraft are on deck at Dover, ready to kick off the weekend shows with a practice Air Show for media and Department of Defense ID card holders tomorrow.

The weekend shows are free and open to the public. Free parking is scheduled to be at the Bergold Farms parking lot. Eagle Heights residents will be able to catch a bus from Base Housing.
