Hunt Construction recently completed the security gate for the housing side of Dover Air Force Base.

The new building provides more space, a heated area and a restroom for the 436th Security Forces Squadron members guarding the gate.

"I love the new building," said Airman 1st Class Jesse Bechtel, 436th Security Forces Squadron security forces member. "It keeps us dry, warm and makes the 12 hours a lot more bearable."

The new 500 square foot building comes just in time as the weather starts to head into the colder months.

"I'm really glad we're able to do this for the security guards, to give them a warm place in the winter and just something nicer for the people who protect the base," said Chris Radziewicz, Pinnacle Housing Director.
