Wingman Day

Members of Dover Air Force Base celebrate Wingman Day here with a Warrior Fun Run early Nov. 9. The Wingman Program charges Air Force personnel to vigilantly monitor the welfare and development of their fellow Airmen, especially during high-stress periods and increased mission operations. It also encourages professionals to mentor and watch out for their fellow Airmen throughout their career. Units base-wide met within their organizations to discuss how to work through stressful times, where to get help from different agencies on base and how to cultivate a continual teamwork attitude throughout the base.
