Amputee Airman overcomes cancer

Tech. Sgt. Matthew Profitt puts on a flexible prosthesis, a C-Sprint, which absorbs impact before running at Dover Air Force Base, Del. In 2003 his leg was amputated when he was diagnosed with epithelioid sarcoma, a malignant soft tissue tumor. He is a 512th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron guidance and control section technician.
