ALS receives Governor’s Outstanding Volunteer Service Award
From left to right, Staff Sgts. Brian Lecates, Robert Andrews and Chad Hardesty, 436th Force Support Squadron Airman Leadership School cadre, Senior Master Sgt. Jason Barnshaw, 436th FSS ALS commandant, receive the 2016 Governor’s Outstanding Volunteer Service Award from Gov. Jack Markell during a reception and dinner at Dover Downs Hotel Oct. 9, 2016. In 2015, the cadre motivated and led more than 215 people, providing more than 1,000 volunteer hours in the local community. Their service saved an estimated $10,000 in contracting and other fees.
