Feb. 6, 2018 | 0:43
On Feb. 6, 1991, in support of Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield, an MC-130E aircrew with the 8th SOS carried two BLU-82 "Daisy Cutters." One was dropped on a minefield to assist Marines advancing through Iraqi border defenses and the other on an Iraqi battalion HQ. By the close of the war, 11 BLU-82s were dropped by MC-130E aircrews.
