CBP Black Hawk Fast Rope Exercise

On November 2, US Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations UH-60 Black Hawk crew from the San Diego Air and Marine Branch successfully completed Fast Rope currency and proficiency training with members of the San Diego US Border Patrol Special Operations Detachment, BORSTAR/BORTAC. The exercise included precision Fast Rope insertions and Fast Rope Emergency Extractions from confined areas in rugged terrain. The joint training exhibits the capabilities of a strong partnership and reinforces techniques to be applied in future real world operations.
