The Infantry were reintroduced to a way to get their gear to fight by Army Reserve watercraft. The USAV Maj. Gen. Robert Smalls lead a four boat convoy with equipment from the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division while escorted by a ship from the Kuwait Ministry of Interior Coast Guard. Exercise Spartan Mariner combined the efforts of aviation, infantry and logistics, to ensure interoperability on the battlefield. Also available in high definition
