The County of Maui, Hawaii, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, FEMA escorted and transported invited, credentialed media partners in the Lahaina Wildfire Impact Zone to view recovery progress in anticipation of the one-year mark. Media had the opportunity to speak with county officials and guests regarding scheduled site visits, and recovery efforts related to the work being conducted in the impact zone.

USACE Recovery Field Office Commander, Col. Eric Swenson provided an update and overview of current recovery operation in the impacted fire zone.
