Operation Allies Welcome - Operation Allies Refuge
Dec. 6, 2021 | 1:47
Sgt. Mohammad Jamil, 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, talks about being selected by the Chief of Staff of the Army to attend the Army-Navy football game. The Department of Defense, through U.S. Northern Command, and in support of the Department of Homeland Security, is providing transportation, temporary housing, medical screening, and general support for at least 50,000 Afghan evacuees at suitable facilities, in permanent or temporary structures, as quickly as possible. This initiative provides Afghan personnel essential support at secure locations outside Afghanistan. (U.S. Army video by Sgt. Elliot Alagueuzian, 7th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment)
