25th FS lands on ALS
51st Fighter Wing
Nov. 1, 2022 | 1:32
A-10 Thunderbolt II's from the 25th Fighter Squadron land on an alternate landing strip during Vigilant Storm 23 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Nov. 1, 2022. When the ALS is activated, the taxiway can become an active air strip. This reallocation of flight line space ensures that aircraft can take-off and land despite damage to the main runway.
