5th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment
April 15, 2024 | 3:04
U.S. Soldiers compete for the title of Non-Commissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year in a competition for the Military Intelligence Readiness Command held at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., from April 9-15, 2024. Competitors are evaluated on their ability to adapt and overcome scenario-based battle-focused events, which challenge the full spectrum of technical and tactical proficiencies necessary to ensure success while conducting operations in uncertain conditions. Soldiers emphasized the importance of perseverance in their efforts to finish the competition. (U.S. Army video by Pfc. Elijah Magaña)
