U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Shakiera Kapp talks about her transition from the U.S. Army to the U.S. Marine Corps at Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina, April 29, 2021. Kapp was awarded the 2020 Marine of the Year for 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing for her exemplary work ethic, off-duty education and leadership.
