28th EARS refuels U.S. Marine Corps EA-6B Prowler on night mission

A 28th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron KC-135 Stratotanker and its aircrew provide aerial refueling to United States Marine Corps EA-6B Prowler, assigned to Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 2 (VMAQ-2), during a night mission in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, June 28, 2018. Footage includes KC-135 pre-flight checks, takeoff, and night aerial refuel of the EA-6B Prowler. The primary mission of the EA-6B Prowler is suppression of enemy air defenses in support of strike aircraft and ground troops by interrupting enemy electronic activity and obtaining tactical electronic intelligence within the combat area.
