EX AFRICAN LION 18. A KC-135 from the 100th ARW refueled F-15's from the 493rd Fighter Squadron and F-16's from the Royal Moroccan Air Force training out of Ben Guerir Air Base. The KC-135 fueled 4 F-15's and 4 F-16's with 47,500 pounds of fuel. The US Air Force and Royal Moroccan Air Force are training together in part of EXERCISE AFRICAN LION 18. This annual exercise provides training for U.S. and Moroccan forces, as well as promote interoperability and further develop tactics, techniques, and procedures of all participating nations to counter-violent extremist organizations.
