The E-8C Joint STARS completed its final operational mission at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Sep. 21, 2023, marking the end of an era in airborne command, control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. Since 2002, the JSTARS fleet has accomplished 14,259 operational sorties for 141,169 flying hours in support of every combatant command. (Air National Guard video by Capt. Ronald Cole)
