I Corps Commanders Conference

America's First Corps' Command Team, LTG Gary J. Volesky, and CSM Walter Tagalicud, hosted a two-day, semi-annual Commander's Conference Aug. 13-14 on Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

The Conference provided a formal setting for General Officers and their Command Sergeants Major to participate in discussion and dialogue with an emphasis on community support and resources regarding resiliency and readiness.

Former I Corps Commander, GEN Curtis M. Scaparrotti, NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe - SACEUR and Commander of U.S. European Command, was also in attendance as guest speaker of the event, and also led a discussion panel on Executive Leadership.
