Federal Emergency Management Agency
Jan. 5, 2018 | 1:29
Ciales, Puerto Rico, January 5, 2018 - Blue Roof installations are occurring across the island for survivors effected by Hurricane Maria. Thousands of survivors have received their tarp and professional installation by subcontractors hired by FEMA. Operation Blue Roof is a program offered by FEMA through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to eligible homeowners and landlords. It provides a temporary covering of blue plastic sheeting to help reduce further damage to property until permanent repairs can be made.
