More than 2,400 service members and Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets took part in the 2020 "Sounds of Freedom" on February 17, 2020 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The "Sounds of Freedom" is an 8.15 mile run taking part in Honolulu in which service members in formation run together calling cadence alongside runners taking part in the Great Aloha Run.
