Dynamic Warm-up
Muscle Activation
Preparation:
The Marine will start in the standing position with feet together.
Execution:
The Marine will bring one leg up in front of them, grasp the ankle, and pull the foot back behind them. They will keep the chest up, the knees together, and hold for a 1 count. The Marine will lower the foot, step forward, and repeat on the opposite side.
Common Mistakes: - Winging the knee of the raised leg out to the side
- Letting the chest drop forward
