Chicago Auto Show
318th Theater Public Affairs Support Element
Feb. 10, 2012 | 1:47
The 2012 Chicago Auto Show provides a peek into the future for car enthusiasts and young folks seeking a challenge. The theme for this year’s event is Army: Past, Present and Future. Displays included Gen. George S. Patton’s vehicle and a prototype hybrid fuel reconnaissance vehicle. Thousands attended the event, which gave local men and women in uniform the chance to talk candidly with prospective applicants about their Army experience. There is a sound bite from Maj. Gen. David L. Mann Commanding General U.S. Recruiting Command and Pv2 Kevin Cronin, newly sworn in Soldier.
