Las Vegas Wounded Warriors get courtside seats at a USA Olympic basketball game and recognized in a brief ceremony during the game. Soundbites from A1C Rachel Webster-narrator; USAF MSgt Christopher Aguilera-Nellis AFB, NV-First Sergeant 66 CSAF-Wounded Warrior; USA SGT Kyle Stepanek-Nevada Army National Guard Las Vegas-Military Police-Wounded Warrior The USA Olympic basketball team honors eight Las Vegas Wounded Warriors. Airman First Class Rachel Webster takes us courtside to watch the action. imagine seeing Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, and Kevin Durant play from only a few feet away. eight local wounded warriors got the opportunity at the USA Olympic exhibition game played at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. while getting to watch basketball legends is a strong lure, these warriors were at this particular game to be honored. Master Sgt. Aguilera- It’s really amazing; it’s very humbling you know, I didn’t think this was going to happen. between the third and fourth quarter, the USA team recognized the sacrifice of these men and women on center court. Sgt. Stepanek It feels really great to be here and I’m very appreciative that we’re actually allowed to come here and check out a game for somebody to hold us in a high honor in front of all these great people. It’s really great so I really appreciate it. Air Force Master Sergeants Christopher Aguilera and Jeramie Brown, Technical Sergeant Christopher Trisko, Air Force Staff Sergeant Ryan Hines, Marine Sergeant Jeremy Ringgold, and Army Sergeants Matt Haynes, Erin Bell, And Kyle Stepanek received the recognition they deserved and got to watch a great game as well.
