Friends, families and community members gather to bid farewell to the Louisiana National Guard’s 832nd Engineer Detachment, 528th Engineer Battalion, 225th Engineer Brigade, during a deployment ceremony at the Carl F. Grant Civic Center in Plaquemine, July 31, 2019. More than 50 Soldiers with the Plaquemine-based unit departed for a nine to twelve-month deployment to Iraq taking on a mission that includes general engineering and construction.
