The 919th Special Operations Wing is fortunate to have a rock star like Capt. Katie Saunders, chief of public health at the 919th Special Operations Medical Squadron, working during the COVID-19 pandemic. Saunders took a break from her her regular job as a Family Nurse Practitioner to come on orders at the 919th SOW and provide daily insight and information to leadership to help keep 919 SOW Airmen healthy and safe so they can continue to accomplish the mission.
