Soldiers of Bravo Company, 572nd Brigade Engineer Battalion, 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Mountain), Vermont Army National Guard, participate in basic Solider tasks, route clearing, and familiarize on earthmoving vehicles during drill at the Ethan Allen Firing Range, Jericho, Vt., Nov. 5, 2022. Route clearing ensures corridors of travel are free of obstruction and dangers. U.S. Army engineers also shape the military's physical operating environment via construction, demolition, and earthworks. Video features Husky Vehicle Mounted Mine Detector (VMMD), Buffalo Mine Protected Route Clearing (MPRC) vehicles, remote-controlled robot, and interaction with simulated, improvised explosive devices, charges, and objects of suspicion.
