Do you need to do anything during TRICARE Open Season? Open season for TRICARE beneficiaries starts on the second Monday in November and lasts for 30 days. During this time, families enrolled in or eligible for TRICARE Prime or TRICARE Select can change their TRICARE coverage for next year.
