436th Airlift Wing recognizes 2019's top performers

Twelve individuals and one team were recognized as the best in the wing and received the coveted eagle trophies for their respective categories.

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- The 436th Airlift Wing recognized this year’s outstanding military and civilian performers during the 2019 Annual Awards Ceremony held Jan. 31, 2020, at the Rollins Center in the Dover Downs Hotel and Casino.

Col. Matthew Jones, 436th AW commander and Chief Master Sgt. Shae Gee, 436th AW command chief, took center stage and presented the coveted eagle trophies to the following annual award winners:

Airman Service Award of the Year: 1st Lt. Sarah Aravich, Operations Group

Volunteer Service Award of the Year: Ms. Elizabeth Keller, Maintenance Group

Civilian Employee of the Year Category One: Ms. RaeAnn Rivera, Medical Group

Civilian Employee of the Year Category Two: Ms. Kaitlyn Spencer, Wing Staff Agency

Civilian Employee of the Year Category Three: Mr. Dale Mull, Mission Support Group

Key Spouse of the Year: Mrs. Lynne Otis

Honor Guard Member of the Year: Senior Airman Veneta Wheeler, Mission Support Group

First Sergeant of the Year: Master Sgt. Jason Smith, Maintenance Group

Team of the Year: 9th Airlift Squadron Multi-Modal Team

Airman of the Year: Airman 1st Class Dajonte Holsey, Mission Support Group

Noncommissioned Officer of the Year: Tech. Sgt. Laura Beckley, Wing Staff Agency

Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year: Master Sgt. Kevin Siclari, Operations Group

Company Grade Officer of the Year: Capt. Michael McFadden, Maintenance Group
