Cha-ching: CPTS cashes in for AMC award Published Feb. 5, 2013 By Airman 1st Class Kathryn Stilwell 436th Airlift Wing Public Affairs DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- Thanks to their outstanding achievements and management of resources, the 436th Comptroller Squadron cashed in as the 2012 Air Mobility Command Financial Services Office of the Year. "We paid attention to detail and were dedicated to providing the best service to our customers. Also we were the only AMC base to have perfect metric 14 months straight," said 2nd Lt. Avanté Graves, deputy financial officer with the 436th Comptroller Squadron. Senior Airman Joe McGhee, financial services technician with the 436th Comptroller Squadron, said having a team of dedicated professionals was a main reason they won the award. "We have Airmen that are dedicated to the mission and stay as late as they need to in order to make sure that the job is done right," said McGhee.CPTS' mission to provide world class decision support and financial service to achieve Eagle Wings mission contributed to their win. A win they can add to their past triumph in 2011 when they took home the Outstanding Unit award. It is a job they did well enough to be recognized as the best in AMC. "It means that our shop stood out amongst the other AMC bases and that we are giving our troops the best financial support in AMC," said Graves. "Our mission statement demands that we provide top class service to our members and that is what sets us apart." To maintain their outstanding achievements and management of resources, CPTS intends to continue providing award-winning service in Military Pay, Travel Pay, Civilian Pay and Customer Service and Support. "We plan to continue to provide great service and stay dedicated to getting the mission done," said Graves.
