DAFB to conduct demolitions training Published Jan. 31, 2013 By 436th Airlift Wing Public Affairs Dover Air Force Base, Del. -- Members of the 436th Civil Engineer Squadron's Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight are scheduled to conduct demolitions training Feb 1, 2013 here. Training is scheduled to occur between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. This training is essential and helps to ensure the readiness of EOD personnel. As a result of this training, some residents may hear more noise than usual coming from the base's training range and may experience possible ground shaking. It is important to note that noise from the range may travel farther during overcast weather conditions. Dover Air Force Base works hard to minimize the impact training has on its surrounding communities and is committed to remaining good neighbors.
