In accordance with the requirements of the mandatory implementation of the Family Health Initiative in primary care, the 436th Medical Group will eliminate active duty sick call and dental sick call by June 1. In order to make the transition smooth, the Family Practice Clinic will use a two-phase approach. This will not impact Flight Medicine sick call.

Phase I of the plan will eliminate afternoon sick call and shorten the sign-in time of morning sick call. Beginning, Feb. 1, afternoon sick call will no longer be available. Morning sick call will be available with an abbreviated sign-in time. All active-duty members wanting to be seen during sick call must be signed into the Family Practice Clinic by 7:30 a.m.

Phase II of the plan begins on June 1, which will eliminate all active duty sick call - for non-flyers - and dental sick call. Active Duty members will be given priority on the appointment line from 6:30-7:30 a.m.
