The Dover Officers' Spouses' Club held its annual Craft Show at the Delaware State Fairgrounds Nov. 6, 2010.

The show had 125 vendors, more than 3800 attendees, and about 100 volunteers, and more than half of the volunteers were Airmen, high school students, Boy Scouts, and other community members.

Several Dover Air Force Base-affiliated clubs enhanced the show by selling shopping bags and food to support their efforts around base and in the local community.

The Craft Show may be over, but the Scholarship and Welfare committees are now tasked with giving all the money away. The Scholarship Committee will award the bulk of the proceeds in scholarships to military dependents who are graduating seniors or continuing education students. The application process for the scholarships will be announced in December 2010.

The Welfare Committee is tasked with reviewing donations requests and recommending the requests to the Dover OSC Board. The Dover OSC Board makes a collective decision as to which contributions to fulfill. Welfare request forms can be found at the OSC Web site: www.doverosc.com

With the success of this year's Craft Show, the Dover OSC is currently working on planning for next year's show and refining the scholarship application process.
