October 31, 1962: Six Dover Air Force Base aircraft participated in a three-day paratrooper drop exercise at Fort Campbell, Ky. In total, 1,083 men from the 101st Airborne Division successfully landed within the drop zone. The aircraft completed 12 drops per day resulting in the qualification of 42 aircraft commanders as live paradrop pilots. 

October 30, 1984: The Fox Theater, located in Building 520, was renamed the Gregory Auditorium during a formal dedication ceremony. The room honored Colonel Gerald D. Gregory, a long time Chief of Personnel. 

October 27, 2004: United States district judge Emmet G. Sullivan issued a ruling stopping the Department of Defense from inoculating armed forces members who did not voluntarily accept the Anthrax vaccination. The court determined that the Federal Drug Administration violated the Administrative Procedures Act by not holding a hearing prior to the licensing of the vaccine. A military-wide mandatory immunization program began in April 2007.
