Q: I am a little frustrated and annoyed with the amount of vehicles driving through base housing with their car stereo above the legal limit. I work night shift and the only time for me to sleep is during the day. I am constantly being woken up by the thumping of car stereos. I know Delaware has a law against noise pollution. Is there anyway to get this Delaware law enforced on base?

A: With Dover's 24/7 mission, all Team Dover members need to be cognizant of the fact that their fellow Airmen are sleeping during the day in order to work mid- and graveyard-shifts. Security Forces has been aggressively patrolling the housing area and is alert to this and other community concerns. Please help us by reporting any nuisance, suspicious or illegal activities to the Security Forces Control Center at 677-6666. A description of the vehicle, license plate, and time of incident is very helpful.
