Why is the sauna in the women's locker room still broken?

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- Q: I was wondering why the sauna in the women's locker room at the Fitness Center has been broken for the last three weeks. Is there any way we can address this issue so we can utilize the sauna?

A: The emergency alarm in the women's sauna broke beyond repair on June 30 and a new alarm was ordered on that date. The new alarm was expected to arrive several days ago, and the 436th Civil Engineer Squadron should be installing it soon. Due to the safety hazard the broken alarm poses to Fitness Center users, the sauna must remain closed until it can be repaired. I applaud your interest in ensuring our facilities are repaired and operable in a timely fashion.
