Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce wins Abilene Trophy Published May 12, 2016 436th Airlift Wing Public Affairs DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- Congratulations to the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce for winning the AMC Community Support Award, also known as the Abilene Trophy, for their support to Dover AFB. General Carlton Everhart II, Air Mobility Command commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Shelina Frey, Air Mobility Command command chief, presented the Abilene trophy to senior leaders from the 436th and 512th Airlift Wings from Dover Air Force Base at Scott AFB, Ill., yesterday. The award was established Jan 1, 1999 by the United States Air Force Air Mobility Command and the Military Affairs Committee of Abilene, Texas. It recognizes the community that provides the finest support to an Air Mobility Command unit. The trophy will be presented locally at a later date.
