Annual Retiree Appreciation Day

The 436TH Airlift Wing invites all retirees to the annual Dover AFB "Retiree Appreciation Day," that will take place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at the Landings club on Dover AFB.

The Dover AFB Retiree Office is planning an interesting and informative morning.

Information booths will open at 8 a.m. with representatives from base facilities and service organizations, who will be available for individual questions. 

Briefings on subjects of interest to the entire retiree community will begin at 9 a.m. Col. Donna M. Pike, 436th Mission Support Group commander, will be our main speaker. She will be followed by, Chief Master Sgt. Robert L. Frank (Ret.), Air Force Sergeants Association chief executive officer, who will give an update on benefit changes and current legislation. 

The benefit briefings will be followed by briefings from the 436th Force Support Squadron, TRICARE, Pharmacy, Veterans Administration and other areas of interest to the retiree community.

Flu Shots and ID Cards will also be available that morning. Coffee and pastries, compliments of the Dover Federal Credit Union will be available.

Also, make a complete day of it and visit the Air Mobility Command Museum, play a round of golf at our 18-hole golf course or bowl at our Bowling Lanes.
