A three-Airmen Maintenance Recovery Team from Dover AFB was alerted and mobilized within 24 hours. The MRT, along with the flying crew chief assigned to the C-17, coordinated parts and tools from Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, to ensure the successful return of the aircraft to Dover AFB.
