Afghan helicopter crews train

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan – Two Afghan Air Force MI-17 helicopter flight crews receive their final mission briefing prior to departing on a local training mission at Kandahar Airfield May 6, 2013. The crews, which consist of two pilots, one flight engineer and two aerial gunners, team with air advisors from the 441st Air Expeditionary Advisor Squadron daily to achieve the goal of Afghan-planned, led and coordinated operations by the end of 2014.
