Dover AFB Inducts 2013 Honorary Commanders

Commanders from the 436th and 512th Airlift Wings, Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations, Armed Forces Medical Examiner System, and Joint Personal Effects Depot recognize outgoing 2012 Honorary Commanders and induct new local community leaders during the 2013 Honorary Commander Induction Ceremony Feb. 9, 2013, at the Air Mobility Command Museum, Dover Air Force Base, Del. 2012 Honorary Commanders were inducted as Honorary Commander Alumni. The honorary commander program, which began at Dover AFB in 1992, matches civic leaders with active-duty and reserve military commanders to help community members understand the importance of Dover AFB's mission while allowing military commanders and units to learn more about the community in which they live.
