Comfort Stones

Holly Lindquist holds comfort stones she made, which resemble a part of the gravestone, and it is a way of bringing comfort to the mourning and remembrance of the deceased at the 436th Airlift Wing Headquarters building on Dover Air Force Base, Del., July 29, 2010. Ms. Lindquist feels a comfort stone is one way to honor the men and women who have fought and sacrificed their lives serving their country. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Chuck Walker/Released)
